Four cases were on the docket. Judge Hvmgerford ^e presided.3 Patrick Cuddy was arrested Saturday night on eomplaiut of his wile, who claimed that he had assaulted her.This morning when Cuddy’s ease was called Prosecuting Attorney Sweeney explained that MrB. Cuddy did not wish ^ ^ to appear against her husband because IS there bad really been no serious assault H 3 committed* Cuddy had gone 1 orae Sat-g urday night between 11 and 12 o’clock and he and his wife had indulged in a lit- n tie family quarrel, and the wife, in her ex- 2 citement, complained to the police. The 5 officer who arrested Mr. Cuddy could seePriotlaTlnno marks on her. Attorney wSweeney said that Cuddy had always flt;borne a good reputation, so far as he ^knew-, and that as MrB, Cuddy is in a del- picnte condition it might injure her to k bring her into court at this time.
