Mcbdbr.—-The Galway Vindicator contains the follow-ing:—u A most barbarous murder was perpetrated on Satur- j day night last, near Clare Galway, The name of the unfortunate victim was Thomas Muliowney, who, it appears, had a quarrel some considerable time since with the sister of one William Glennane, the person who is charged with the commission of the crime. Nothing, however, arose out of it until Saturday night, at ten o'clock, when decased was met on the road near Glare Galway by Glennane, as he was returning from the market of this town. An altercation in reference to the above quarrel took place between them, and angry words were exchanged, when suddenly Glennane drew ont a knife, and gave the deceased several stabs with it in the abdomen, and then fled. The wounded man, whose house was not far distant, was conveyed home, but lingered only until Monday evening. An inquest was held upon the body, and a verdict of wilful murder returned against Glennane. He has not yet been arrested._____— -___ cttl - r •____*7.
