Marerro Man.Drowns DuringTangi BoatingAMITE - A 34-year-old Marerro man drowned Monday night in the Tangipahoa River five miles south of Lee’s Landing.He was identified as Harold Michael Lew, who was riding in a boat on the river. The body was receovered this morning.Deputy Steve Drury and agent Huey Bardwell of the Wild Life and Fisheries Department found the body. The search was conducted in the area of the drowning over night.
