_ *Maddogs In the Dark Corner.A gentleman In from Waynesburg informed the Herald to-day that a rabid dog made its appearance in that village on the 19th instant and bit the wife of Mr. Jan Thurston, who resides in this couuty in the Hark Corner, and several dogs, cows and other animals. Mrs. Thurston was taken to Ohio for Madstone treat* ment yesterday. A large sow that was bitten by the dog has shown signs of being made and was killed. Twenty dogs have been shot and the slaughter still goes on. The case of Mrs Thurston will be watched with interest.
