A Brave Woman.Last Sunday at Newton Hamilton a burly rough named William Martiu, drunk as a lord, behaved iu an outrageous manner at the house of a Mrs. Daniels. Being ordered to leave and refusing to go, Mrs. Daniels struck him over the head with a poker, followed it up with a sad irou and then seized a revolver and would have shot the ruffian but for the interference of outside parties. He was finally persuaded to leave but continuing the exhibition on the street an of. ficer was sent for and he was arrested and lodged iu the Lewistowu jail.
