OIL CITY - City police arecurrently investigating aburglary that occurred at an K. Fourth Street residence over the weekend.The incident occurred at the Donald Maier home, 207H E.Fourth St., sometime between 9:30 a.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday.Items missing included a pistol valued at $40, engagement rings with an estimated value of $100. The items were taken from a shelf in a bedroom closet.Police said the burglar broke a window in a door on the east side of the house and reached inside and unlocked a night lock. He then entered the home, ransacking the entire building.
