Patton Rogers Home Bum.The residence of Patton Rogers was completely destroyed by fire early Friday morning. The fire, which was discovered by neighbors at 2 o'clock, had gained such headway that it was impossible to save any of the contents. The family, with the exception of one boy Jesse I was camping at Spirit Lake at the j time and Jesse was spending the night with a friend. There was $2000 insurance on the house and. furniture.Stolen Car Located.William Bogart, star route carrier between Vader and Ryderwood, was notified Tuesday by the highway patrol that his Ford sedan stolen the night of May 18 had been recovered somewhere in Idaho. Details are lacking, but it is reported that a man captured while robbing a store was using the car. The owner was traced by the license number. The car was stolen from Mr. Bogart’s service station on the Vader-Ryderwood highway and it was thought at the time that three escaped convicts from McNeil’s island who were known to be in the vicinity of Ryderwood at that time had taken the car. Nolan Bros.’ store in Vader was robbed of a quantity of groceries, clothing and a gun the same night.
