Mr. Chas. Fisk was counsel for tho accused, ami conducted the case with his customary ability, andin the face of several stubborn facta. Tho evidence did not develop anything new or not brought ont at the time of the preliminary examination. The fury consisted of IL. M. Swope, Alfred Taylor, Autoai Tieben, J. J. Mheklin, Joseph Younger, Henry (J. LinfooL Albert Wachs, E. D. Chapin, R. C. Stewart, George H. Toebke, FrankHone and Joseph M. Ransom. They were ont oulv ashort time, and brought in a verdict of guilty, with punishment at seven years in tho penitentiary. Piott took the result without showing any emotion. Frank Kuolte withdrew his pleas of not guilty in two cases against him for selliug liquor to minors, confessed the ludictments and was lined fifty dollars and costs in'each case. Two other cases against him on the game chargewere filed away.Harry Tegge, who was fined fifty dollars day before yesterday, filed grounds and mOvedfor a new trial.In the case of llegel. the witnesses for the defense and prosecution appeared In CouTt. and were recog. uized in the sum of one hundred dollars each, to appear to-morrow, at wlMch time the trial will commence.The grand jury reported indictments against James Davidson, malicious assault and battery, committed on , J.
