Dios ill State Hospital.Isaac Leeper, 87 years old, a pio~fi neer resident of Livingston county, died at State hospital No. 2 St. Joseph Monday night where he was taken one year ago. J. W. Price went to St. Joseph Tuesday and returned : last niglit with the body which was 'taken to the Norman Funeral Home 1 where it was held until this morning Sand then taken overland to the fam-jil.v home at which place funeral services were held at 10 o'clock and burial made in the Avalon cemetery. In i the death of Isaac Leeper, one of lJv-Iingst.cn Co.’s best known citizens has been removed. He served two terms as sheriff of the county and was a familiar figure about the streets of ChilHcothe for years. Twenty years !ugo he moved to Avalon where he had | since resided. About a year ago his jinind weakened and he was taken to the State hospital at St. Joseph for treatment. He has no Immediate family. A daughter-in-law, Mrs. Wm. Leeper, resides at Avalon. •
