The officers shadowed him all day Saturday and lt;»t!icer Vesey made the arrest in front of Uiery's billiard hafi, where Rigney has spent much of bis time. Upon going to his home about 515 worth of plunder wa* found Including hubs, spokes, ebains, tires, etc The tires were not identified as Ariel property. After remaining in ;»:! until this morning the young man wa* brought before Justice Young for s hearing. He waived examination anc ! a was bound over to the circuit court in i * the sum of S-N'O, which be could not furnish and went back to his ceil to remain until the October term of court. Yesterday the authorities put Rigney in the sweat box. He admitted taking bicycle parts home in his pocket and admitted committing thefts for thre* years past. At first he made an endeavor to show his innocence and de clarcd he did not know how the property reached his home, but afterward* weakened Rigney wa* married secretly. 11 is parents are highly respected people When brought to trial he *i:; probably piead guilty and take h sentence. This is his first serums trouble and it is hoped he will be dea.l w.tn leniently. It is said Mrs, Jacobs.
