fJeffersonville column Courier* Journal, lGth: Two young men, giving their narne3 as Chas. Simonson and Wra, Kane, were brought to the county jail yesterday, charged with grand larceny. They are supposed to be professional horse and cattle thieves. On Tuesday last they stole two horses from the Deputy camp-meeting ground, and on Wednesday .drove down through Scott county,! stealing several cattle. At Chnrles-\ town they stopped at the gunshop of j Henry Howard, where they purchasedI a revolver and drove on. About noon !j they returned to Charlestown, after ! an absence of only a few hours, and y I reported that they had sold their cat-£ j tie in this city. They appeared be o j fore Esquire Kiel, waived examina-d tion and were held in 8500 each for their appearance at the next regular term of the Clark Circuit Court.Yt
