County Jail Escapee Gains Freedom FromState PenitentiaryCecil Ray Rinehart whowas sentenced to the statepen in 1957, has been freedin District Court following a hearing before DistrictJudge Kermit Nash. It was determined he had been sentenced for the wrong offense. Rinehart was in the ounty jail during the time the courthouse was being remodeled. He was facing charges ofburgia y. After escaping he was captured in Lov-ington, and entered guilty pleas to both the escape charge and burglary.He is reported tohavebeen a model prisoner since 1959.
