McCoy, 19, and Justin C. Sommerville, 19 — wereeach charged with three counts offirst degree murder, one count attempted first degree murder and one count of aggravated battery with a firearm.Both men were held on $7 million bond each.They are charged with killing Anthony Cooper, 19, and Tremayne Thomas, 17, of Elgin and Taiwon L. Jackson, 18, of Chicago inside the Burnham Schoolhouse at 260 Cen-WillieMcCoyJustinSommervilleter Street.Corey Boey, 18, of Carpentersville also was shot in the abdomen and leg and was listed in critical condition at Sherman Hospital in Elgin Tuesday, family members said.Officers originally said they believed three men committed the shooting. On Tuesday, they saidthere may have been more people involved.Police didn’t have to look far forsuspects.Sommerville was taken into custody at the scene Monday where he was “hanging out” in the parking lot with other spectators after the shooting, police said.Information obtained from witnesses implicated Sommerville in the crime, officers said.Police declined to say where they arrested McCoy, only that it was in Elgin late Monday night.
