Damage wat estimated at $150.Concord, the driver of a 1975 Ford truck, reported injuries in a 9:50 a.m. Sundaymorning accident on Poplar Tent Road.She did not go to Cabarrus Memorial Hospital for treatment.Also involved in the accident was Mary Brown Willis of 405 East 10th Street, Kannapolis, the driver of a 1976 Oldsmobile station wagon.Reports indicate that the two vehicles were traveling west on Poplar Tent Road. The Oldsmobile was stopped in the roadway behind other traffic which was stopped. According to the report, Ms. Chastain looked away and struck the rear of the station wagon.Line Sgt E.J. According to police reports, he was driving a 1978 Mazda west on Roberta Road when he left the road and struck a fence. The car traveled another 100 feet before coming to a stop. Witnesses said Golden left the scene. A passenger in the car, John Robert Jones, 21, of 3905 April Circle, was treated and released from Cabarrus Memorial Hospital.
