Farm walk-away is taken into custodyThe first Iowa State Penitentiary inmate to allegedly walk away from prison farm one . north of Fort Madison along the Augusta Road, since the prison resumed housing inmates there June 13 was taken back into custody at Keokuk Saturday night, authorities said.Robert Cloke. 37. was found by officers at a Keokuk motel with his wife and their son about 9 p.m. Saturday and offered no resistance to authorities, Keokuk police said.Cloke had been reported missing after the Saturday noon check of inmates at the farm, the prison said.He had been assigned to work at the farm before the penitentiary resumed housing inmates there, the prison said.Cloke registered at the motel under an alias, police said.Cloke entered the penitentiary here Feb 10, 1972, and has been serving 10 years on a charge of breaking and entering from Keosauqua, the prison said.
