rM1Fear 88 Exposed to PolioChAs:iyin51seit-ckreanA teen-age construction worker from Anaheim who became ill with polio may have exposed a group of 78 small girls and 10 adult leaders attending a YWCA monutain camp at Barton Flats, Orange County health officials revealed Tuesday.The girls were scheduled to return to their homes, mostly in the Fullerton area, Tuesday afternoon.totewelt;3Dr. Edward Lee Russell, county health officer, said all parents were notified to takeprecautions.The afflicted youth is John Stanton, 16, one of a number of boys working on a construction job at Camp Osceola in the San Bernardino mountains where the girls were encamped.He was ill for four days in the camp, but has a non-paralytic attack and his condition is notconsidered serious.Dr, Russell and Fullerton YWCA officials said the only contact between the young girls and the group which included young Stanton woulw have been in the eating halL However, the two groups sat separately.Parents of the girls were urged to keep the children relatively quiet and to pay extra attention to sanitation.Stanton was one of eight police cases recorded in Orange County Tuesday.
