Lovesick DP Kills 2 And ThenHimselfLAKEWOOD, N. J., Aug. 17 —()— The fourth victim of a “lovesick” Polish DP's wild shooting spree lay near death tonight as police studied the killings of two others and the refugee's suicide.Shot dead—before 45-year-old Pa-wel Yasrewiez pumped a bullet into his chest last night--were his girl friend, Mrs. Anna Tulpan, 45. and her aged mother.Critically injured was Mrs. Alexandria Prunkoff, about 50, of Passaic, who was visiting Mrs. Tulpan. She was shot in the spine. Paralyzed from the neck down, she is in Paul Kimball hospital here. The shooting, authorities said, followed a violent argument between Yasrewiez and Mrs. Tulpan's. mother, Mrs. Kuzanna Kaczmasz, 87, over the attention he had been paying to her daughter.Police said Yasrewiez, an itinerant cook who apparently lived in New York city, opened fire on the three women in Mrs. Tulpan’s modest home. He spared another woman guest. Nadine Sarakwash, 30, so she could be “a witness.” .Yasrewiez then set fire to ±he house and fled into the pine woods which surround this winter resort in mid-Jersey. A short time later he returned to the scene and turned his gun on himself as authorities closed in on him.
