CREATED SCENE ORSTREEfS, mmt| \ BKECKENRlDtiE PE0PU81 PUT ON STUNT HERE SUNDAY.Alleged That Collias Caught GiUgarr and Mrs. Collins Driving Together.Two men, who gave their names as .Tames Collins and Clyde GtUgrr, and their home as Breckenridge. were arrested by Officer Tom Dawkins Sunday afternoon for creating a scene on the streets. They were locked in the calaboose ddring the night and Monday morning were fined £1 and costs.According to the police, Gillgarr and -Mrs., Collins drove from Breckenridge to OhiJJicotbe during the af-J. ternoon and as they were driving east I, on Clay street between Washington [ and Locust streets, Gillgarr saw Col-jj lins coining south on Locnst street near the New York Store. Gillgarr turned the team quickly and applied the wUtp in an effort to escape Collin*, who was tanking a run for the buggy. Collins succeded in reaching the buggy and caught hold of the rear axle. He gradually pulled Mraself up to £ standing position and as Gillgarr turned the tcamlt;Jnto Cherry street from Clay, the buggy was overturnedand Mrs. Collins caught under the top. She w as badly bruised. The two men escaped uninjured. The team broke lose from the vehicle and ran to the Litton livery barn, where It was caught.• Officer Tom Dawkins, who witnessed the escapade, was oA the scene and arrested the two men and took them to police headquarters where they we re booked for disturbing the peace. In the meantime, Mrs. CoBlis recovered from her injuries and walked away and has not been seen since.A large crowd witnessed the affair and it was expected Collins would be kited any moment by being thrown under the buggy.
