In oar notice of the fight list week between William Berlin and 01 Powers the type made us say “bad whisky was the cause.” What we die say was that •‘bad whisky on the part of Powers was the cause. Mr. Berlin does not indulge in intoxicants as the item would state. We have since learned more in regard to the difficulty and it appears that the trouble originated from Powers’ defence of an evil associate and his use of language that villified all virtuous ladies so that Berlin resented his abuse and villification in a proper and effective manner and did just exactly what any other man with spirit and manhood would have done.
