City police apprehend 3 burglary suspectsPolice apprehended three burglary suspects in two separate Incidents early Friday in Chicago Heights John W Young. 54. 541 Concord court, told police he was awakened about 12:30 a m by his son who said he heard suspi cious noises Young walked into his living room and heard what sounded like some one trying to tear the screen from a windowPulling aside the curtains. Young saw a young man trying to open the window He fired a handgun twice at the would-be intruder as the man fled.YOUNG ALSO said he noticed a car parked in front of his home A short time later a young man resembling the ntrud er returned to the car but agam fled when he saw Young watching Young then called police Police said thev learned the auto was believed to be a vehicle belonging to Cortez Higgins In side the vehicle police found an Army style jacket bearing the name Riggins Police went to the Riggins' home at 328 Boston street. There Riggins' father said he was asleep and he could not awaken his son With the father's permission police roused the young man and found him fully dressed, in the same clothes described by Young Police said Riggins, 18, was charged with burglaryvary Missionary Baptist church. 241 Fast 15th streetPolice nabbed Kenneth Jacobs. 25. 1438 Wentworth avenue, as he exited the rear door of the church While checking inside, officers said thev found Isaac Ford. 30. 1335 Mason court hiding in a basement furnace room «The suspects apparently had entered through a basement w indow and had ran sacked several rooms before being dis covered, police said Both men were charged with burglary',SHORTLY AFTER 2am police arrest ed two men allegedly burglarizing ('al
