Man Drowns After Jumping In Lakej NEW ORLEANS (AP)—Ayoung man who couldn’t swim-jumped into Lake Pontchar* train and drowned Wednesday, apparently after being taunted bv companions to get into tne water, police said.The victim was identified as Leroy Taylor, 23.Nearbv lifeguards got Taylorout of the water but efforts bythe gurrds and a police emergency unit to revive the man,failed, officers said._______In 1831, the first train in the United States to be drawn bv a steam locomotive made a run between the New York cities of Albany and Schenectady._________
