DePue People In County Court______ IEverett Eggers and Henry Moore, of DePu'', aired their troubles in the county court last Saturday, with theresult .that a settlement satisfactory to all was rC^fclidd. It seems that a- j bout .U month ;fgo Moore was injur-, ed in an^trrtomobile accident and Eg-gers took four children forthe injured mab during the time he was laid up. In settlement for the accident Moore received $125, hut in reporting ihe “same to Eggers he claimed he had only received $20 and this-be paid to Eggers for caring for the children.However, it.*seems Eggers soon learned Moore was holding out on him and he demanded more money for the care he had given the Moore children. This led to threats from Moore and Eggers had him placed under peace bonds. In retaliation Moore had Eggers and another man named Ira Miller arrested for violating tlie automobile law they having been driving a car with a wrong license on it.Saturday in court all the differences were ironed out and Moore was ordered by tlie court to pay Eggers $30 in addition to the $20 lie had al-j ready received. Moore was dismissed from court with the understanding that he was to cease making threats | against Eggers.
