A Most Melancholy Occurrence lookplace at Brvantown, in this county, on Friday last, which resulted in the death of John Deakins, caused, it is said, by blows inflicted with a loaded whip by Kelita | Suit,a constable, who, we understand, was j assaulted by Deakins while in the act ofi arresting him under a warrant for lighting. How far Mr. Suit was justifiable in using bis whip in defence of hrmseff we cannot saw It will be time for the public to form an opinion when the affair shall have undergone an investigation before those legally authorised to examine and take testimony in such cases.Ic(
