Cunningham, Justice of the peace, yesterday afternoon after a preliminary hearing in the city council chamber, Independence.Ernest Hamilton, who was with Wootly at the time of the shooting, said that Woody told him that he was “going to get Kirkwood, and that he spoke first in an Insulting manner to Kirkwood.Jamee A. Kemper, Kirkwood's lawyer, said that his client would not withdraw the cross bill be filed August 10, naming Woody as co-respondent after Mrs. Kirkwood had filed suit for divorce August 6.
