At 8:30 o’clock, Tuesday night, Daniel Flynn, who keeps the toll-gate on theMichigan toad, just north of town, went to the back door of his house in response to a knock, and discovered hiswood-shed on fire. He called to his wife and together they extinguished the flames without loss, except of the change box and about $5 in cash, which was stolen from the front door whilethey were attending to the tire. The scheme was discovered, but not the box, No clue to the perpetrator.
