Taxes.Order of Publication.In vacation of court, July l«th, 1885, in the circuit court of Lincoln county, Mo., fall term, 1885.The .State of Missouri at | the relation and to the use of Peachy (I. Shelton, collector of the revenue of Lincoln county,Missouri, Plaintiff,AlisalomDavis or his unknown heirs, Defendants, jNOW on this 16th day of July. 1885, comes the plaintiff by his attorney before the undersigned, clerk of the circuit court in vacation and tiles his petition verified by affidavit, stating, among other things that Absalom Davis or his unknown heirs, are non-residents of the state of Missouri and asks an order of publication notifying said nonresident defendants of the commencement of this suit, the object and general nature of which is to obtain judgment against said defendants on a certain tax bill dated the lfith day of June 1885, and filed with said petition for the sum of 81H.49 with interest and costs, the same iteing taxes on Fifteen (15) acres, the central part of the southwest quarter of the south west quarter of section twenty-eight (28), township fifty (50,) range three (a)west, lying and Mng situate in the countv and state aforesaid.For the years of 1877,1878, 1879,1880, 1881, 1882 and 1883, and to enforce the lien of said taxes, interest and costa against said real estate which ia owned by said defendant** It ia therefore ordered by the undersigned clerk in vacation as aforesaid that said non-resident defendants be and they are hereby notified that unless he or tfcey be and appear at the next term of our circuit court to be begun and held at the court house in the city of Troy, Lincoln county. Mo., on theThird Monday in September, 1885,and on or before the sixth day thereof, if the same should so long continue, plead to plaintiff’s petition, the same will be taken as confessed and judgment rendered according to the prayer of plaintiff’s petition.STATE OF MISSOLSCounty ok Lincoln,I, William Colbert, clerk of the circuit court within and for the county and state aforesaid.^Jo certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the order of publication in the above entitled cause, as fully and completely as the same appears of record in my office.Witness mv hand as derk seal £ and the seal of said courthereunto annexed.
