$ 150,000 Bond Set For Robbery SuspectJohn Wesley Brice, 18, was charged Saturday with armed robbery and his bond set at IISMM when he appeared before Judge Lynne Hixon Holley for a 24-hour hearing.Brice was one of three men who were shot during an abortive holdup attempt on Aug. 4 at the Howard Johnson Motor Lodge. Law enforcement officers from the Fort Myers and Naples Police, along with sheriff’s deputies from Lee and Collier Counties, were Joined by investigators from the State Attorney’s office in staking out the building after learning a holdup was pinned.One of the men, Willie Frank Blackmon, 18, was shot and killed and Briceand Lester Johnson.
