(ScState Police had reported thatLoper loaned the car to Davis t about 1:30 p.m. Monday. ButLoper said Davis, an employee of his, had no permission to take the car.Loper said if Davis was driving the car he would press harges. Loper had cancelled the insurance on his car sever-da]twbeedscedthClthcl-al weeks ago.Davis along with Raymond5riffin, 17, of Chicago, one of the two hitchhikers in the car, are still in poor condition in Borges* Hospital in Kalamazoo where they were taken after the accident on CR 376 in Covert Township. Police have not yet determined whether the driver of the car was Selles or Davis.Ralph Ware, 14. of Covert, the other hitchhiker, is in fairly good condition in South Haven Community Hospital.
