Near-Riot Broken Up By City Police* - — ... -City police broke up a near-riot among a group of about 50 Bahamians on the Bowery late Saturday night.Several received minor injuries while skirmishing and arguing among themselves.Patrolman A. C. Lowry, who was among the police dispatched to the scene, said that some of the Bar hamians were drunk. None were arrested, he reported, hut all were i loaded into taxis and taken hack to their camp near Smithsbnrg.
