John Foor, A. C. Long, Enos B. Palmer, G. S. McKenzie and William Howard were appointed a committee to have charge of the celebration.The following are the new officers of the council: President, William Howard, of the carpenters’ union; vice pres-ident, J. C. Webber, carpenters’ union; secretary, M. E. Cutting, carpenters* ’nion; treasurer, Enos B. Palmer, Ty» pographical union; sergeant at arms, r. D. McKenzie, barbers’ union; exe-•itive committee, A. B. Jones, brewery workers’ union; Walter Maddux, butchers’ union; Oscar Singer, butchers’ ’inion; J. Affleck, painters’ union.
