FRIDAY, AUGUST 11,1939.PENINSUIHELD FOR DYNAMITINGCrystal Falls—Ralph Lindquist, 24, of Iron River, held in Cheyenne, Wyo., in connection with the dynamiting of two bridges in Baragacounty during the woods strike in 1937, will not be brought backbv either Baraga or Iron counties.it was stated Wednesday.Lindquist was taken into custody at the request of Iron county authorities.Lindquist’s real name is Ralph Marttila. He was arrested and convicted of grand larceny in Iron Mountain in May, 1937, and was placed on two years’ probation byJudge Frank Bell.The decision not to bring him back followed a conference between Sheriff Emery King, F. Lloyd Simmons, prosecuting attorney, and Judge Bell. The expense involved was too great, it was stated. However, the federal bureau of investigation has been notified.
