Hold-Up Leads To Two Killings At MilwaukeeMilwaukee.—(/P)—Two men were fatally injured by two-gun bandits in an attempted holdup of the Henry Barg saloon on the edge of the city last night. Edmund Brae-ger, 25, died a few minutes after the shooting. Scott Kendall his friend who attempted to disarm the bandit, died today.Sheriff’s deputies and police today were hunting tw'o men, one about 50 years old, who did the killing and the other, about 35, who was beaten over the head with a revolver butt by Barg after the killer escaped.Braeger was shot down while he had his arms above his head, m response to the bandits’ command, and while his wife, with their youngest child, Edmund, 2, was running for the door. Outside asleep on the cushions of their car, were his other children, Jean and Jane, 5 and 3 years old. The family, with Mr. and Mrs. Tindall, had returned from the Socialist picnic at Muskego Beach near here, and had stopped to dance a few times at the Barg place, near their home.The bandit fired on Brager as Tindall struck the arms of his companion, nearly knocked the gun from his hand. As the shooting occurred, however, the second bandit overpowered Tindall and fired four shots into his protrate body.From the saloon cash register and the pockets of the men they were about to kill, the bandits obtained a total of about $61.
