Novel Action Against a Keeley In stitute. Atlanta, Ga., Aug. 10.—Dr. Percy N. Dedubey of Tallulah Falls entered suit for $15,000 damages against the Keeley In stitute here today. The allegations in the bill are novel. The plaintiff recites that he was addicted to the use of liquor, and his tags became so frequent in occur rence that he decided to go to the Keeley laceace at Indian Springs for the treat ment. HIS GROUNDS OF ACTION. Dr. Hall came to him one night, armed with a hypodermic syringe, and injected a load of gold into his thigh. Dedubey says the syringe was not clean and the low net of the right proportion, and the result was an abscess on his hip. The poison finally re cut into six large ab scesses, and the patient suffered terrible pain from them. Soon after this he be came AFFLICTED WITH MORPHINE PAINS, and late one night he was forced to wake up the doctor and ask for relief. Dr. Hall gave him an injection of the chloride of gold and then insisted upon the patient accompanying him to another room. The patient went with him down the hall to another part of the house. The room they entered was provided with heavy swinging doors, such as are com com in barrooms. Hall entered first, and as Dedubey started to follow the doors swung back and knocked him down, breaking a small bone in his leg and caus ing great pain. Dr. Hall, so the patient says, weighs 310 pounds, and that is what caused the terrible rebound of the doors.
