Businesses broken intoThieves caught in the actby Linda J. DalglieshThe Lakevicw Hotel and Casey s Inn, located in Lac du Bonnet, were broken into early on Wednesday, August 4. The break in at the Lakeview occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. The RCMP said the culprits had disabled the alarm system and then made their way into the lounge area. Video lottery terminals, cash drawers, and cigarette vending machines were damaged and robbed. A quantity of cash, liquor and cigarettes were stolen. John Enright of theLakeview refused to comment on the value of the stolen items. RCMP investigation is continuing.At 5:30 a.m. the Lac du Bonnet RCMP were called to a break and enter in progress at Casey's Inn. RCMP successfully apprehended two men who were still in the basement.
