Prosecution plannedNew tuna groundsSAN DIEGO fl’PI) — American tuna fishermen are heading for the waters off West Africa to escapeporpoises and bureaucrats.Three U.S. tuna boats recently arrived in African waters reported back they quickly loaded with tuna, said Ed Silva, executive vice president of the American Tunaboat Association. At least six more boats have set out for the African waters, he said.The tuna caught off Africa do not associate with porpoises.
