Police seeking suspect in shooting incidentChicago Heights police are searching for a man who allegedly shot an 18-year-old city man on Monday night as he and his girlfriend walked along Division street.Tyrone Riggins of 328 Boston street was treated for injuries to the legs at St. James hospital, Chicago Heights, and released.Riggins and witnesses told police Riggins and his girlfriend were walking north on Division street at Concord drive when the incident occurred.THEY SAID a car drove up beside the two and the driver said something to Riggins. The driver then drove up the block, got out of the car, got something out of the trunk, got back into the passenger compartment, then shot at Riggins.A man shot on Sunday after he was reportedly chased by three menon the city’s East side was in fair condition yesterday at St. James.Kenny Lane, 23, of 320 East 12th street, was shot near Gavin school and was seen being chased by the group, witnesses said.Police were unable to get additional details from Lane.ANOTHER MAN stabbed the same day on the city’s East side was treated at St. James hospital and released.J.T. Coleman, 20, of 1428 Congress lane, East Chicago Heights, was reportedly wrestling with friends when the stabbing occurred.
