CROWN POINT, Ind., Aug-. 8. — John Adams, proprietor of the Adams hotel, a resort located at the north end of Cedar Rake and a favorite meeting* place of Lake county politicians, is being* held in the county jail today while friends are trying to arrange bond.Adams was arrested following a raid in which liquor was found at the resort.Deputy Sheriffs Linn, Dunbar, Gulstrom and Baker visited the hotel with a search warrant last night and returned to Crown Point with 500 bottles of home brew, three gallons of wine and a few pints of moonshine.The proprietor was charged with maintaining a nuisance and possessing liquor.
