DISCOVER SKELETONBones of Union Soldier Found on First Day’s Field.Dennis Twomey and his gang of Western Maryland track workmen uncovered a well preserved skeleton near the railroad cut west of town late on Thursday afternoon while working near the track. The sKeleton was under less than a foot of ground and with it was found five buttons* usually found on the Union soldier’s uniform, several bullets, two iron heel plates, jand the heels of two shoes. The man was evidently buried near where he felt during the heavy fighting in the railroad cut on the first day. The bones wiU be buried in the Soldiers’ National Cemetery.
