MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR AT DOVER.About 10 o’clock on Thursday night two soldiers of the Highland Light Infantry stole a small boat from the shore and put to sea. On Friday morning the boat was picked up with only one soldior in it and one oar. The soldier was drunk when found, and he gives several different accounts of the disappearance of his contpanion. In one account lie states that he landed him on the sands, buc there are none within many miles; in another he s»ys he put him on a large steamer with a white funnel se that he could desert; and, lastly, he states that when the other oar was lost, the soldier jtampod after it, and has not been seen since.
