tESCAPES PRISON;By Associated Press.Lafayette, Ind., 'Aug. 6.—Nellie Barton who, with. Amelia King, escaped from the Indiana, Womans’ prison, atIndianapolis on Wednesday, was ar-• #rested near here today after she, half clad, had been pursued through the woods.The woman was found at the home of John Campbell, on south Fourth street early today, in bed. She escaped by running through woods and fields. Later she was captured at the house of her former father-in-law, and her former husband was arrested on the charge of having abetted in her escape.■Nellie Barton was sentenced here for from two to fourteen years in prison on February 17,1910 for assault with intent to kill. She stabbed Sadie Hickman and robbed her.
