Wirt county, was set aglow with idle gposlp yesterday wen Miss Edna Copen, aged 18, very pretty, and of one of the beat and most highly respected families In the county, entered suit through Attorney Thomas Brown against Lieut. Gibson, a prominent oil man, for $10,000 damages, alleging In her bill breach of promise and seduction. The bill Is one of the most sensational ever filed In Wirt county, and was a genuine surprise. ,Gibson sometime ago loti the county and on his return recently attempted to transfer all his properly to his brother. He was prohibited from doing this by mere chance and was served with notice of the suit.
