sociation with other fmen.MTurner Promptly Hanged,Birmingham, Ala., August 6.—Neap Springhill, Barbour county, about midnight last night, George Turner, a negro farm laborer, entered the bed room of Miss Marv Robinson, daughter of his employer. £300 was aroused by the noise and screamed. Turner -then attempted to choke her. Her father ran in from an adjoining room and Turner sprang out of the window through which he had entered and fled.Before daylight a posse was organized and tho negro was run down a few miles away, brought back to the scene of the crime, identilled,and promptly hanged to a tree in the neighborhood.
