—War lias commenced on the west side of Cedar Lake among the hotel keepers. Two of Hunter's bar keep* era were arrested and pat in jail for seliiog liquor without a - license. There were three cases against Dennis Murphey, bat he put up $160 in cash and was admitted to bail. There are four cases against George Gray. He being unable to find a friend or raise the money still languishes in jail, On Monday 47 cases were filed against VanBoistet, two-thirds ef them by his neighbor Hunter,for selling liquor on the Sabbath. Van-Boistel has taken out license, but Hunter is doing business on thestrength of his respectability.
