Police found the body of Mrs. Sue Bar* letta, 53, on the basement floor, ;Shc had been dead several hours.Police quoted Barletta' as saying he picked up the hatchet after his wife grabbed a hammer last.night during an argument, The couple had been married five years. .Neighbors said they heard loud voices coming from the Barletta residence last night. Barletta. told police his wife wanted to go out and he didn't. That started the fight, he said.Barletta walked into the police station and told the officer in charge:Lock me up, I just killed my wife.” •
