Several HeldI joiri ans dayIn Jail AfterbeeTafColBurglary SeriesSeveral men were being held n the county jail at Montague Wednesday afternoon, most of them in connection with burglaries or thefts in widely scattered parts of the county, according to Sheriff Tom Lindsey.FOJtioiFoiwaDucorthacorThree of them are being held in connection with the burglary on July 24 of the W. B. Smith store at Stoneburg, where merchandise was carried away by burglars who forced entrance to the store. One of the three was arrested in this county on Tuesday following the burglary, and | ]tintoLindsey said that one gave information that led to the arrestof the other two in Waynesville, I ce]Mo., on the following Thursday.SatnjanHe said he preferred not to give names of the three. He did say that the mother of one of the boys lived in the Missouri town and that the two were apprehended when they sought to contact the man’s mother.gr;ehouSiiththchoffogcTwo other men were in the jail charged with the theft of property from two Jiomes in the Sunset community, Lindsey said.The places robbed, according to the sheriff, were the Leslie McDonald and Reynolds homes.
