MAN ROBBED OF $700IN HOLLIDAYSBURGAllison Hengst, a retired PER trainman and Spanisli-American War veteran, was robbed of ap-roximateiy $700 Saturday morning al 12:20 o'clock, Chief of Police Karris Baird of Hollidays burg-announced last night.Hengst. registered . at the O’Neill Hotel, retiree! for the night leaving his bedroom door unlocked. He had the money inhis clothing. He awoke just as the burglar was closing the door. Shouting for held, Hengst started after the intruder who tore down the steps to the office.James Ma’one, the hotel clerk, was ready to- Intercept the flight of the thief but was roughly pushed over into a tumble as the man ran out the front office door into the darkness.
