New Judge Takes SeatAn importaut change takes place at the court house this week when P. H. Tannchill assumes the duties of common pleas judge and Charles F. Kibble retires after having successfully administered the affairs of that office for several years.An ambition of many years will have been reached when Judge Tannehill assumes the duties of his new office on next Wednesday morning. Being well qualified for the post and having been elected by the people of‘our county to this exacting office the incumbent can feel a degree of pride in the confidence reposed in him. That he will fill the office with credit to himself and to the satisfaction of the people is a foregone conclusion. The same square dealing which has marked his private life will characterize every act on the bench. The people of our county will be content with this, they will ask for no more.In retiring from office Judge Ribble may well be proud of his record as judge and of the confidence and esteem in which he is held by the people generally. He made a wonderful record in keeping the docket clear and conducted the office in the full interest of the people.
