}j Shooting Scrape at Matthews.1*Dick Hunot, the constable of Matthews, was shot in the calf of the leg Monday morning by Joe Weliford, mayor of that city. 'It was the second shooting scrape engaged in by them recently, the first one taking place Sundayevening on the main street ofMatthews, but owing to the poorit resulted in an open ruptude.Monday morning when they moton the street, both started shooting, and citizens had to hide tokeep from being shot.
