Theft by '■'FindingCoits Soldier $10s/\_•“Theft by finding” was the way in which Arthur Joseph Dixon, a soldier stationed at - Suffield, received the first blot against his otherwise “clean sheet” since joining the army. Young Dixon was reported to have rode on the Suffield bus with a group of workers. Frank Powell, an employe of Suffield experimental station, lost his ■wallet containing a signet ring and $35 cash on the trip. Investigation disclosed that Dixon had been seen picking up “some” article in the bus.He pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge of theft and gave a convincing display of repentance. His voice was tinged with regret and Magistrate S. G. Main took into consideration the previous clean record of the accused. Dixon was assessed $10 and costs of $5.50. Fine .was paid.
