Over 200 witnesses have already been examined. Arguments were begun today, and the case will be given to'the Jury tomorrow. Ten lawyers are in the case, und the itato Is making a Bpeclal effort In the prosecution. The Btate is attempting to provo that Nile Is Jim Jones, the only eurvlvor of the Dalton gang. The boldness of thts robbery, and the killing of several prominent iitljena of Longview by the robbers, has caused a general interest to be manifested In Ibis trial.A sensation was created In coiftgjt today when attorneys for the defense attempted to ehow that a bribe had been offered to a witness to testify for the state. This charge will be investigated further tomorrow.
